Purcell laboratory of sleep and neuropsychiatric genetics

We are dedicated to understanding the links between sleep, behavior, cognition and psychiatric disease, using human genetic and computational approaches. Since joining the Brigham & Women's Hospital in the summer of 2016, a previous focus on neuropsychiatric genetics has been significantly augmented, with a new focus on sleep: specifically, mapping the determinants and consequences of brain activity during sleep.
